Socket welding flange

Overview:

Socket welding flange refers to the flange where the end of the pipe is inserted into the step of the flange ring and welded at the end and outside of the pipe. There are two types: with a neck and without a neck. The necked pipe flange has good rigidity, small welding deformation and good sealing performance, and can be used in occasions with a pressure of 1.0 to 10.0MPa. Type B flanges for containers also belong to socket welding flanges and are used in situations with high sealing requirements. When designing, socket welding flanges can be checked as integral flanges.
